Meet our Director, John Barrett

 

John Barrett is the director of Unique Space Homes and has over 25 years of experience in the building trade. Starting as a young labourer in his father’s company, John quickly worked his way up the ranks. He learnt about all of the trades on the job and became a qualified carpenter before eventually starting his own building company in 1994.

 

As John’s reputation as a loyal and trustworthy builder grew, so did his company and within just five years he was building 3 loft conversions with wrap around extensions in the same road in west London, as well as having a full order book with a 2 year waiting list.

 

 

John realised it was time to upscale and so joint forces with another well respected builder to form a large, successful company building houses for clients in London and the Home Counties – some of which went on to win awards for their excellent design and feature in the property section of the Daily Mail and the Financial Times.

 

Now, John is excited to embark on his latest business venture – Unique Space Homes. Utilising his love of building with his outstanding ability to guide and advise clients, John is bringing his focus to his home-town of Chiswick, west London and its surrounding areas with the goal of building and refurbishing beautiful homes that his clients will take pleasure in living in for many years.
